Template:Ship Infobox colThe Viper MK VII is the modern, upgraded version of the Viper MK2. It has reduced speed systems to enable a more balanced feature. It is also a merit only advance ship, so you need 30,000 merits to advance it. The Viper is most commonly found in wolf packs due to their all-round abilty to take on almost everything. They are also a very common ship to see amongst fleet due to their capability to hold 5 weapons when upgraded.
In-game Description
The modern version of the Viper is a sleek and deadly space superiority fighter that easily matches the performance of previous designs, while offering greater tactical flexibility. However, the MK VII's reliance on the latest technology makes it more vulnerable to electronic warfare than the older MK II, and more expensive to maintain and run.
As a Multi-role fighter, the Viper MK VII can be equipped with a more balanced selection of hull, engine and computer systems than other strike craft.
