Yes, I had already updated that page, along with the Advanced WR Mark II, Viper Mark III and Adv Viper Mark III. I have outlined more in the forum thread about what I've done and what is to be done.
I don't per se have a problem with the changes you made to the Mark II page. Only thing is, I'd suggest you then consider similar changes to the Advanced WR Mark II, Viper Mark III and Adv Viper Mark III pages as I have them rather similar to each other, so they should be updated to ensure content consistency.
I suggest you have aread of this thread in the forum - http://bsgo.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:4419 and in particular the blog post it links to. You will see if you log into the wiki via a desktop what the issue is. If the change Wkia have implemenetd perrtymuch most of the wiki will have to be re-designed.
Just a small thing you know the navigation bar with the drop down menus on the top of each page? well I just found something that needs fixing (I'd do it myself but I don't know which file it is contained in). If youselect the "Community" tab, you have a choice of "Recent Blog Posts" or "Forum". Well the link to the forum on thatr drop down points to the "old" forum and not the current forum.
It looks like someone already beat me to the punch here. The link seems to work properly, as we are currently using a subsection of the entire forums. The link works properly as it displays the entire forum. pawn0_oMessageContribsBattlestar Galactica Online 15:21,4/23/2015 15:21, April 23, 2015 (UTC)
You might want to check out the Colonial Ship Info Box thread in the forum. One of the main reasons is we have another user who has joined our wiki who has had some ideas on a couple of new fields and I suggested he wait for your opinion before putting the info in all the Colonial Ships in cawe you deploy the new ship info box you have been working on. He seems rather keen.
I should point out I started the thread as I had some views on what fields I believe should not be in it.
Check out your Admin Dashboard, which can by found by clicking "Admin" on the bottom toolbar -- it has links to all your new tools. Please let me know if you have any questions, and good luck with your new (old) wikia!
As to your Sandbox - http://bsgo.wikia.com/wiki/Sandbox_Pawn0_o I don't understand what you mean I'm afraid. You want me to change it back so it looks like the welcome page?Make it a template? I'm not trying to be obtuse I'm just not sure exactly what you want me to do. In the interim I'll make it a template as that seems to be part of what you wanted me to do.
Oh ok my mistake, I thought I didn't save it into the templates section. Sanbox is okay, let's leave it alone for now. I think I'll have to add the gallery and it could even replace featured articles and really turn this into a nice wiki. Finnally looking like an actual wiki.
I really want to work on our ship info boxes as they look dull. For now I'm gonna relace featured articles, and replace it with a gallery of the same content. I'll have some sugestions about the ship info boxes in my sandbox, and you can look and give your opinion to make our wiki better than the competidor.
I just noticed a couple of minor issues with the home page.
Firstly, In the section "The Story So Far" we have the following -
"Welcome to the Battlestar Galactica Online wiki! Feel free to make an edit. If you need help, contact an admin . As this Wiki is incomplete and needs all the help it can get."
That seems out of place for that part as the rest of it gives us a blurb on the game. Might I suggest we move it to either: the "Template:Main Top"; or the "Battlestar Galactica Online Wiki:About" page. Unless youcan think of a better place for it.
Secondly in the "Template:Main Top" part of the home page, do you thnk we should change where the link for "Content" points to?
It is just you may think to find content (i.e. what is on the wiki) that is the link you click on, but it takes you to a "Content" page which has links to very little of the wiki's actual content. If that page is meant to be THE content page for the wiki, we will have to add "Content" to most of the pages on the wiki for the content page to work as "the person in the street" would think it should. If you think it wiser to just change the link to point elsewhere, might it be better to point it to the "All pages" special page? Let me know what you think would be better to do (if need be, I can add the category to the pages, just let mw know which you think would be better to do).
Alright, I have updated the main page with all the additions you have asked for. The special all pages is a very logical step, so we will use that until something better comes along. Time to work on the gallery.
