Template:Ship Infobox colThe Advanced Viper Mark II (or Advanced Viper MK II) is a light interceptor strike ship for the Colonial faction. It is the advanced version of the Viper MK II.
The Advanced Viper MK II is upgraded from the standard version for 30,000 Cubits. This can be done by talking to Galen Tyrol in the Galactica's CIC or by talking to the Outpost Quatermaster. This ship is rarely seen in game piloted by players as most opt for the more flexible Viper MK7 (this may change with the increases given to it following introduction of the staelth ship).
With the addition of the Stealth Ships to the game in Update 41, the Mark II Viper was given an increase to its flank and boost speeds so that it is able to intercept the Stealth Ship. A recent hot fix has also seen an increase in its acceleration.
The Cylon equivalent is the Advanced Raider.
