Template:Ship Infobox colThe Vanir, with its unique design is the third line ship you can choose when you reach level 20. It is a command vessel, so it should be used as a mobile base of operations. With up to five command systems the Vanir can be vital tide-changer in some small skirmishes. The advanced version requires 60,000 cubits, giving more weapons and another computer slot. The Vanir can also be used as a missile ship as it can have systems which improve the power supply vastly.
In-game description
The distinctive twin-hull design of the Vanir incorporates multiple sensor and emitter grids in a paired configuration that, when restored to working order by the ground crews of the Galactica and Pegasus, have proved to be extremely powerful and effective.
As a heavy Command vessel, the Vanir can be equipped with more computer systems than other line ships, increasing its electronic warfare and support capabilities.
