The Advanced Spectre is the upgraded (i.e. advanced) version of the Spectre. It is a command class escort ship in the Cylon fleet. Upon advancement it gains: 1 hull slot; 200 hull points; 20 power; and 3 per second to power recharge. Being a command ship, it also has a role bonus of -100 to power cost for FTL Transponders.

This ship is rarely encountered as many Cylon players who fly escorts tend to prefer to fly a Liche or Advanced Liche.

With the introduction of the stealth ships, the Advanced Spectre, being a command class ship, is able to mount a special Dradis array which boosts the dradis range of the ship making detection of enemy ships, including stealth ships, markedly easier.
