The Advanced Fenrir gains another computer as well as a hull slot which adds up to 3 computers and hulls. With the added hull and computer slots it allows you more power (better if your a missile boat fenrir/aesir). The Fenrir has a better chance of surviving a huge battle then the other lines (unless your up against a nidhogg/gungnir).
