The Advanced War Raider is one out of 8 of the hardest ship to get, the others being the other mult-roles and the carriers. At 30,000 merits to upgrade (equal to using the Capital ship 3 times Aprox). Wth high health and 5 front weapons the Advanced War Raider is very dangerous foe to go against, only matched by 2 escorts or 3 high level strike pilots(completely dependent on the pilots skill level but their skill is most likely high due to amount of PvP they must go through in order to earn the Advanced War Raider).
In-game Description
A Cylon War Raider that has undergone extensive reconfiguration and reconstruction to incorporate advances in Cylon ship manufacture and engineering techniques. Hull strength and reactor performance are improved, allowing the Advanced War Raider to support more weapons than other strike craft.
Due to the expense of customizing and maintaining an Advanced War Raider, it is only made available to the most dedicated and experienced combat pilots.
